We collect duvets, pillows and bed linen from homes in Kensington, Earl's Court and the Holland Park side of W14, clean them in our own laundry and bring them back pressed within 3 working days.
Kensington's housing is a mix of tall stucco terraces, garden squares and red-brick mansion blocks. Around Kensington High Street and Kensington Church Street, a great many of the big Victorian houses were divided into flats long ago, and the mansion blocks nearby are flats too. Earl's Court follows the same pattern, with long terraces around Nevern Square and Courtfield Gardens split into flats. On Campden Hill and around Edwardes Square there are more whole houses, with several bedrooms of bedding to deal with at once. Either way, a duvet needs a large commercial drum and hours of slow drying before the filling is dry at the centre. A washer-dryer in a flat kitchen will cope with towels, not with a king-size feather duvet.
Kensington's streets are lined with residents' parking bays, so we plan each stop to be short. If your building has a porter or concierge, leave the bag at the desk: we count the items there, send you the list on WhatsApp, and return the clean bedding to the same desk. In a house or a conversion, we come to your front door and count everything with you. Kensington has a lot of mews streets, some cobbled and some gated. If there is a gate code, or if it is easier to meet at the mews entrance, add a note when you book. Collection windows run Monday to Saturday, 8am to 7pm, and your bedding comes back within 3 working days.
Kensington shares one route with Earl's Court and W14, running from Kensington Palace in the east to Olympia in the west. That takes in the Holland Park side of W14, along Addison Road, Holland Road and Melbury Road, and continues south into West Kensington and Barons Court. The van comes in from our cleaning facility in West London along the A40, so Notting Hill and the streets around Holland Park Avenue are on the same run, and Chelsea and South Kensington are a short drive south. Yes. Tell us the building and the concierge's hours when you book. We collect from the desk, count everything there and message you the item list, then bring the clean bedding back to the same desk.
Is there a Congestion Charge supplement in Kensington?
No. Kensington, Earl's Court and W14 are outside the Congestion Charge zone, and our prices are the same in every area we cover.
Do you cover West Kensington and Barons Court as well?
Yes. All of W14 is on this route, from Addison Road and Holland Road on the Holland Park side, past Olympia, to West Kensington and Barons Court.
