Bedding laundry in Maida Vale and Little Venice
Mansion flat, canal-side house or narrowboat: we collect duvets, pillows and bed linen from across W9, clean them in our own laundry and bring them back pressed and folded within 3 working days.
Maida Vale is mansion-block country. Long runs of red-brick mansion blocks, built around the turn of the twentieth century, line Elgin Avenue, Lauderdale Road and Castellain Road. Closer to the water, Little Venice and Warwick Avenue have white stucco villas and terraces, some split into flats and some still whole houses with several bedrooms. At Browning's Pool, where the Regent's Canal meets the Paddington Arm of the Grand Union, narrowboats are moored along the towpaths, and a boat has no room at all to dry a duvet. Whatever the home, the bedding problem is the same: a duvet too big for the machine, and sheets that leave a domestic dryer creased. We wash each by fibre and press the linen flat.
Many of the larger blocks have a porter, which makes collection easy. Leave the bag at the porter's desk with your name and flat number; we count it there, send you the list on WhatsApp and bring the clean bedding back to the same desk. If your block has no porter and no lift, we climb the stairs to your door rather than asking you to carry a super king duvet down. For canal-side homes and boats moored along Blomfield Road, tell us the nearest gate or street corner and we will meet you there. Maida Vale is in Westminster, where parking is controlled, so each stop is kept short.
W9 runs from Little Venice up the length of Maida Vale towards Kilburn, and west across Elgin Avenue to the Harrow Road, with the Clifton Road shops and the two Bakerloo line stations at Warwick Avenue and Maida Vale in between. It sits between our Notting Hill and St John's Wood routes, so Bayswater and Paddington to the south, St John's Wood across the A5, and West Hampstead and Kilburn to the north are all on the same run. We offer collection windows from 8am to 7pm, Monday to Saturday, and bring everything back within 3 working days.

Yes. Tell us where you are moored and a meeting point on the street or at the towpath gate when you book. The clean bedding comes back to the same spot, bagged so it stays dry on the way to the boat.
