Privacy policy

This policy explains how Linen Room handles personal data. Linen Room is a trading name of Little Valet Ltd ("we"), registered in England and Wales, company number 17257296, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. We are the data controller.

What we collect

Your name, phone number, address and postcode, the items you send us, your messages with us on WhatsApp, phone or email, and payment confirmations from our payment provider. We do not see or store your card details.

Why

To arrange collection and delivery, clean your items, take payment, and answer questions. Our lawful basis is performing our contract with you, and our legitimate interest in running and improving the service. We only send marketing messages if you have opted in, and you can opt out at any time.

This website

The booking form does not send data to our servers: it opens WhatsApp with your details filled in.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages and buttons are used, so we can improve the site. It sets first-party cookies and is used only for statistics: no advertising, remarketing or cross-site profiling, and we do not link it to advertising accounts. Under UK law (PECR as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025) statistics cookies like these do not need consent, but you can turn them off at any time on this device. Who we share it with

Our payment provider, WhatsApp (Meta) when you message us, and our accountants. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Order records for six years for tax purposes. Messages and contact details for as long as you are a customer and up to two years after your last order.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@linenroom.uk. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
